My husband and I recently moved to the Kenai Peninsula from Ft Worth, TX. Soon after settling in and before setting up my ceramic studio, I took pottery classes and joined the Kenai Pottery Club.
I taught visual arts for ten years at a private school, Hill School of Ft. Worth, that catered to students with learning differences. Prior to working in education, I was a technical illustrator. Throughout my life I have been drawn to the arts and shared my gifts with friends and community. While stay-at- home mom, I volunteered to work in design and teaching, through various community organizations.
I attended Kean University of New Jersey and earned a B.A. in Art Education. After starting a family I went back to school and earned a Certificate of Completion in Computer Graphics and Design Technology at Tarrant County Community College.
